Train with purpose.
Live with balance.
Science-based coaching for athletes, artists, and anyone who wants to feel strong in their body and in their life.
Fitness is built through the small decisions you make all day. Training is where you test yourself, build mental toughness, and learn what your body can do. Whether you're chasing endurance or building strength, I meet you where you are and help you carry that confidence into everything else.
Who I work with
Athletes: current, young, and former
Swimming, running, cycling, martial arts, strength sports, and more. Competing now, just starting out, or training like an athlete again, your program is built around your sport and your goals, without the burnout.
Adults 50+
Lifting to protect bone and muscle, so aging gets a little easier on the body.
Artists and performers
Your body is part of your craft. Training that sharpens focus, stamina, and presence.
My approach
Specific, not just hard
Every set, rep, and rest day exists to create an adaptation that fits your goal.
Balanced, because it has to be
I know overtraining from the inside. Recovery, nutrition, mindset, and life outside sport are part of the plan.
Mind, heart, body, soul
Performance happens when they work together. Sport is one facet of a full life.
Leave energized
You should walk out having made real progress and wanting to come back tomorrow.

About
I'm Lauren, a lifelong athlete who was recruited to swim Division I. I've trained in swimming, running, cycling, martial arts, and strength training, and I know overtraining from the inside, which is why balance is built into everything I do.
I'm NSCA CSCS certified, which means I hold the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, earned through a comprehensive exam on exercise science and program design. In Truckee, I coach masters swimming, teach swim lessons, and have led dryland strength programs for young swimmers. I also hold a studio art degree from Princeton, and that background shapes how I coach: with close attention, patience, and a belief that mind, body, and spirit work together.
I work best with people who are motivated to show up but aren't sure what to do once they get there. You bring the effort, and I'll bring the plan.
